FAQ

Do I have to fill out a waybill if the pickup is not at my office?
Yes. The waybill is a contract between PREMEX and our clients. When the driver arrives to make the delivery at your office, he/she will collect the waybill.

How many days does it take to open a credit account with PREMEX?
New accounts are processed immediately. Delays occurs only while the accounting dept. waits for replies from the credit references you have given with your application for a credit account.

Can I have a scheduled pickup time setup for my overnight orders?
Scheduled pickups can be arranged, with pickup time depending on location. Active clients that have at least a few orders per day are eligible. For clients with less than a delivery per day a pickup fee will be added to your weekly invoice.

What are PREMEX's conditions for payment?
Invoices are due 15 days from date of invoice.

When do I get charged for an "Extra Stop"?
A redirect will be considered as a second call and charged according to the service requested, including any additional time. A redirect will also be charged in case a wrong address is provided. Please check carefully.

What does the "surcharge" field in the totals section at the end of my invoice represent?
The term surcharge on your invoice refers to a fuel surcharge that the transportation industry has used to combat escalating fuel prices.

How is "Waiting Time" charged and why?
"Waiting time" is charged when during a pickup the driver is forced to wait for a package past the time it was scheduled to be ready. During deliveries waiting time may also be applied if excessive time is needed to deliver. The rate is $1 per minute with 5 minutes of grace given.
